2014 School Drive: Help Local Schools!

supply drive graphic2

This school year, Real Life Church will be participating in a very special alliance with four of our local schools. Gaiser Middle School, Fircrest Elementary, Riverview Elementary, and Crestline Elementary School have high percentages of students in need, which is why, during this summer’s VBX, kids gave money to buy supplies for students at the schools.

The schools have very specific needs which Real Life has the opportunity to come alongside and meet. The kids have already raised over $1000 for this cause, which will be used to purchase supplies – now it’s your turn to participate!

This is a great opportunity to see huge impact at very low personal cost. For $30 or less, you can prepare a child for the school year, give them shoes, and even make sure that they have enough to eat!

There are several ways to give:

1. Give supplies & gift cards. Bring the listed supplies and gift cards to church on Sundays and put them in the foyer or the offering basket!

3. Give in offering in church or online. Use our regular Real Life Church donation page and be sure to click “add special instructions to recipient” and specify that the gift is for the supply drive. If you want your offering check to go to this cause, write “supply drive” in the memo line.

You went above and beyond meeting our church’s need this summer and gave more money for summer activities than in any previous year! Because of this giving spirit, hundreds of children had the opportunity to get to know each other and God better at our various summer camps and activities.

Let’s keep that giving spirit alive into the fall and show Christ’s love to three communities that need to see it!
