Love Mondays: Celebrating School Support

School’s out! As the summer excitement sets in, we would like to take a moment to celebrate the generous giving you accomplished in His name during the school year.

You helped to support Gaiser Middle School students during the holidays by providing meal boxes, baking supplies, and toys. More recently, the gift cards you gave provided treats for the honor roll breakfast and the end-of-the-year AVID celebration. A special program supporting underperforming kids by teaching them hands-on skills made use of Home Depot gift cards you provided.

Riverview Elementary students in need received a total of 18 pairs of shoes and 9 winter coats. (Every single student who needed a coat this winter was able to get one, thanks to all the Riverview partners!) You also helped provide emergency gift cards and a whopping 30 potty pants for stressed-out students who have accidents in class.

Crestline Elementary also received 30 potty pants, as well as 6 pairs of shoes and enough soccer gear for 20+ kids on their fifth-grade state team! Eighteen Crestline families also received holiday meal boxes.

That’s hundreds of individual lives impacted, both students and their families! Thank you for being open to giving and serving this school year, and to being Christ’s hands and feet in our community. We also want to express our gratitude to the counselors and resource coordinators at these schools who work hard to keep kids and their families healthy and supported throughout the year. Keep an eye out later this summer for information on how we’ll be helping when the next school year starts!

Our Life Group also provided Winco gift cards and holiday food boxes for 5-6 families at Fircrest Elementary school this year.
