Be Brave: Special Events for Kids
One of the original goals for Real Life Church at its founding was to provide excellent children’s programming. Half of the Cascade Park neighborhood where we’re located is under age 18, so it made sense to have something great for those kids if we wanted to be true community for them and their families! With that in mind, we began to offer Brave Girl and Braveheart kids’ summer camps, where girls and boys spend a fun few days learning how to be brave and confident in the Lord.
Eventually we decided these camps were super awesome and thought, why limit that awesomeness to summer? Why not get their parents involved in these life-shaping events? And so Brave Girl Mother-Daughter Weekend and Braveheart Father-Son Day were born.
This year, moms with daughters in 3rd-6th grade are invited to spend a fun overnight with us at the church learning how to follow God, how to be brave in Him, and how treasured moms and their daughters are in the eyes of the Lord. Brave Girl Mother-Daughter Weekend is Feb. 24-25 and you can learn more and sign up here.
Fathers and sons in 3rd-6th grade are invited to spend an awesome day learning life skills and how to be confident men of God. Braveheart Father-Son Day is March 4th and you can learn more and sign up here.
Even if a parent can’t attend, kids are more than welcome to bring an aunt or uncle, a grandparent, or even a special mentor in that child’s life! We don’t want any child to have to miss out on these incredible opportunities. Get signed up today!
